A lot of their stock is grown on site, which means it’s already adapted to local conditions. That gives plants a much better chance of establishing successfully in your garden. If you’re interested in native planting and also looking for a family outing, Fairhill is one of the best nurseries in the Sunshine Coast region. They have a huge range of Australian natives, included grafted Grevilleas which are more disease resistant and sturdy in their growth. The botanic gardens allow you to see how those plants grow over time and the cafe makes a tasty brunch! That makes it much easier to plan a garden that looks good long term, not just on day one.
